Rising 7th–9th graders in the Bay are invited to this series of hands-on, youth-led workshops designed for students interested in environmental issues and youth advocacy. Participants will learn about important topics like climate justice, environmental science, and sustainability—both on a global level and in their own communities. SF Children & Nature is part of the national Cities Connecting Children to Nature (CCCN) initiative and is working to address the disparities in nature access along socioeconomic and racial lines to ensure all children have the opportunity to play, learn and grow in the outdoors.
We're building a network of nature and play advocates.
