Join Sutro Stewards and spend your Saturday giving back to one of San Francisco’s most beautiful urban wildlands at Mount Sutro! Their Saturday Trail and Habitat Stewardship volunteer days offer hands-on work improving trails and restoring native habitat through activities like invasive species removal, trail maintenance, planting, and ecological restoration. Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome, and the work takes place alongside staff and community members in a supportive outdoor setting. It’s a meaningful way to connect with nature, learn about local ecosystems, and help care for this unique forest in the heart of the city.
