StoryWalk Celebration at Candlestick Point SRA

If You Give a Girl a Bike by author Hayley Diep, is coming to Candlestick Point State Recreation Area!

A StoryWalk places an illustrated children’s book, disassembled page by page, along a designated walking route.

Come out for a reading of the book with the author and bike ride with SF Bike Coalition. Families can also participate in a scavenger hunt, meet some reptile ambassadors with Tree Frog Treks, visit with Cal Academy Family Nature Club and meet with a librarian from SF Public Library.

*Families who attend will receive a copy of If You Give A Girl A Bike (while supplies last).

Families are encouraged to bring their bikes. A few bikes will be available to loan out.

Feel free to bring a packed lunch, water bottle, and wear layers; the park can get windy in the afternoon.
