Join park staff for an evening of storytelling and conversation at the Crissy Field Center, amplifying the voices of South Asian community leaders working at the intersections of social and environmental justice. Drawing on the metaphors of light and dark central to Diwali—the festival of lights—panelists will reflect on what inspires them to create spaces of curiosity, community, access, welcome, and belonging.
Panelists:
Barnali Ghosh, an immigrant artist, landscape architect, and co-founder of the award-winning Berkeley South Asian Radical History Walking Tour
Vishal Subramanyam, an award-winning wildlife photographer, videographer, and National Geographic Young Explorer
This is a free, family-friendly event but registration is required.
