San Francisco Rec and Park’s Urban Agriculture Program offers free supplies to backyard gardeners, community gardeners, and urban farmers through its regular Garden Resource Days. These events take place every six weeks during the non-winter months, providing compost at every gathering, along with mulch, seeds, plant starts, and composting worms when available. Garden Resource Days are now hosted in the overflow parking lot at Gleneagles Golf Course, adjacent to the McLaren Bike Park. Participants should bring their own buckets, as supplies are limited. We're building a network of nature and play advocates.
