The Urban Agriculture Program offers free supplies to backyard gardeners, community gardeners, and urban farmers through Garden Resource Days. Happening every six weeks (during the non-winter months), these gatherings provide compost at every event, plus mulch, seeds, plant starts, and composting worms whenever available.

Garden Resource Days are hosted at 155 Jennings Street.
How to Join:
Pre-registration is required.
Each adult can sign up for one time slot: 10 a.m., 11 a.m., or noon.
Please bring your own buckets—supplies are limited, so registration is needed.
Registration opens two weeks before each event.
SF Children & Nature is part of the national Cities Connecting Children to Nature (CCCN) initiative and is working to address the disparities in nature access along socioeconomic and racial lines to ensure all children have the opportunity to play, learn and grow in the outdoors.
