Bioblitz: Find Your Biobliss in The Presidio

Join Bay Nature Magazine and the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy for a joyful day of discovery at El Polin Spring. Explore local wildlife and plants with guidance from enthusiastic naturalists and learn how to record your findings using the iNaturalist app.
Unlike a traditional “BioBlitz,” our BioBliss invites you to slow down, observe, and find wonder in nature at your own pace. We’ll look for birds, butterflies, wildflowers, mushrooms—whatever catches your eye!
Free event. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Bring your curiosity, a smartphone or camera, and plenty of enthusiasm. Binoculars and hand lenses will be provided, and you’re welcome to stay for lunch afterward.
