Join the community at Alemany Farm and get your hands in the soil at San Francisco’s largest urban farm! Whether you’re new to gardening or a longtime plant enthusiast, Alemany Farm welcomes volunteers of all ages to help grow food, care for native habitat, and strengthen local food access. Community workdays include planting, harvesting, composting, orchard care, greenhouse projects, and more—and volunteers often leave with fresh produce to take home. Individual volunteer days are typically held on Mondays and Saturdays, with dedicated native plant stewardship opportunities throughout the month.
